I was lucky to go on a tour 2 day tour around Kuromatsunai. On the tour had a fantastic English speaking guide, Takafumi San from Kuromatsunai Tourist Association. He was very helpful and explained everything making the tour much more interesting. I did many activities including fishing, cycling and walking in a beech forest. We got to try the local food and meet local people which was great! In the evening other members of Kuromatsunai Tourist Association set up and provided a BBQ at Kuromatsunai visitor centre which was fantastic! We stayed in the Visitor Centre for the night which has everything you need inside. In the morning we went to a lovely café for a fantastic breakfast which included the fish we had caught the day before. Everything fresh and delicious.
The tour was well worth it and Kuromatsunai is a truly stunning area with mountains everyone and the Japan sea is only 20 mins drive in either direction.
Everyone made the trip a truly memorable experience. Thank you !!
