Kuromatsunai’s Utasai Beech Forest is one of the most beautiful natural monuments in Japan. It has numerous, gigantic beech trees with canopies that seem to touch the sky. These canopies create gorgeous, seasonal green, yellow and orange mosaics on the blue sky and provide extensive shade to life forms below. The Utasai Beech Forest is a place where nature lovers can enjoy fresh, open air, observe lush vegetation and experience serenity while listening to the tales of woodpeckers. It is a very fascinating retreat. I look forward to going on another relaxing walk in the forest this spring!
